Every holiday break, I start my annual “holiday healing” phase where I try to tackle a bunch of projects I’ve been wanting to do, but just weren’t able to during the year. One project I was able to complete was refreshing my bathroom shower head. I’d been wanting to switch it out for something more fun. I was really inspired by some of the colorful bathrooms from the 70’s and 80’s, as well as recent contemporary offerings (moodboard below)
In an ideal world, I would love to change out all my fixtures to a bright color, but since that’s not really feasible for me right now, I found a great alternative from the brand Sproos!
Co-founded by engineers Benjamin Fix and Greg Reinecker, Sproos! is bringing a fresh attitude to the shower fixture industry with its unique combination of style and technology. The fixtures are designed for simple DIY installation and removal. No permanent alterations are required so you if you’re a renter, you can simply remove it and not worry about affecting your security deposit!
They offer various attachments, accessories, and bundles, so you can customize your shower experience, including mirrors, cups, and even a phone holder!
What’s also awesome is the box it comes in, comes complete with everything you need, including pliers and plumbers tape! They also offer a “moving kit” for when you want to remove and re-install it in your next place.
They currently offer 4 colors: Yellow, red, white, and black. I was really torn between the red or yellow, but ultimately for me, yellow won.
It was super easy to install and I love looking up at my shower head every morning and seeing that pop of happy color.
