Having just opened at the beginning of the year, Market Market in Palm Springs is bringing new life to old, or rather, “vintage” things. The shop is brought to you by James Morelos, who also brought the Coachella Valley another exciting shopping experience, The Mojave Flea Trading Post.
I had a chance to finally check it out a few weeks ago and first off, the space is massive. It’s 40,000 sq ft and occupies what used to be a SteinMart. It’s located in an old shopping center that is recently gaining new life, thanks also in part to the addition of Bar Cecil, which is right around the corner.
At the time of my visit, there was also a wonderful display feature of my good pal Jim Olarte‘s work in the center area.
There’s over 200 makers that make up the emporium, and honestly they have enough space to add more. You will find everything from furniture, decor, artwork, to an incredible assortment of vintage clothing and accessories. Definitely add Market Market to your Palm Springs must-do list.
