Yep…and just like that we’re in full blown Holiday mode! Whether you’re going to be attending festivities or hosting them yourself, you’ll most likely need some gifts. I’ve put together a few ideas to either give to your host, or to help with your party planning:
1) The start and end of any party always involves cleaning, so why not give some cleaning products that you can feel good about. The folks at Saint Olio have created a line of cleaning products that harness the power of natural essential oils. They also have air and body refreshers too. My favorite is the Citron scent. Founder SD Kaven says “The power of smell is tied directly to our emotions. With our products I want to transport the user to a beautiful place. My goal with Saint Olio is to create a beautifully fragranced, synthetic free line that brings true pleasure to the user.” Find out more here.
2) “Plants make people happy” is the slogan for The Sill, and it’s so true! Every home can benefit from a little plant love! The Sill makes it super easy to gift someone plants and they just released a fun new collection of planters! My favorite is the Dolores, which is ribbed and has a post modern/mephis vibe and it comes in so many happy colors. Check out the whole collection here.
3) Speaking of plants, do you ever find when you have a bouquet of flowers, some flowers die out faster than others? The creative team at House of Thol have come up with a solution. They’ve made a “flower constellation” metal disk that sits over your vase to provide a way to display single stems. The best part is the arrangement of the holes is based of astrological sign! A great gift idea! More info here.
4) Gift baskets are always a popular housewarming idea, but often the recipient is left with a basket that they don’t know what to do with, lol. Step up your gift basket giving by putting your items in a gorgeous container like this one designed by LSA International and available at Unison Home. This is one item that definitely will get re-used and is essentially an awesome and practical gift just as it is! Get it here. (they also have a TON more great gift ideas)
5) Nobody likes to do dishes, but standard disposable party utensils are often boring and cheesy or too cutesy. Harlow and Grey are changing the game with their totally sophisticated and dare I say sexy? They just released a super elegant Holiday collection to get you well on your way to a less stressful festive season! Check out all their modern party goods here.
6) Finally, hosting a party is a lot of work, so every host deserves a treat. Sugarfina is my go to for grown up treats and their selection of yummy yummies will satisfy any type of taste. I like this 3 box bento set to start, but you can just get an individual box, or create your own assortment. Check out all the Sugarfina sweetness here.
