2) Robert Mahar x Knock Knock
I’ve been a fan and follower of Robert Mahar since way back in the OG days of blogging. He has always had such a great creative eye, and I’m so happy to see his latest collaboration with Knock Knock. Robert has created two “old school inspired” products that include some Personal Ribbon Awards and a Paint-by-Number postcard kit.
I love the idea of inspiring and encouraging both young or old with the ribbons, because sometimes you just need a reminder that “…you’re a winner!”. Both make a perfect gift ideas and are available via Knock Knock.

4) Dan Friedman : Radical Modernism at Chicago Design Museum
Another exhibition that looks very inspiring is “Dan Friedman : Radical Modernism” that will be at the Chicago Design Museum, from April 28-August 12, 2017. Dan Friedman was a major part of the New Wave Typography movement in the 80s and early 90s. In addition to graphic design, he also created numerous eccentric sculptures, furniture pieces, and other artworks. He worked alongside contemporaries as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and Jeff Koons. With so much of the look and aesthetic of the 80’s and 90’s being re-looked at today, this is a great opportunity to discover one of the originators. More info here.
5) Palm Springs playhouse by Land of Nod
I think I speak for many, having a house in Palm Springs would be a dream come true. While that might not be a realistic possibility at this point, well at least for me, you can have a pretend one? The Land of Nod just released this adorable playhouse, and I know it’s totally not the same as a real one, it’s still pretty cool and fun none-the-less! Available here.
