I’m not even going to go into the whole OMG-where-did-my-summer-go?! because the fact that it’s September is just too soon. TOO. SOON. Instead I am going to be in denial and focus on presenting you with a few amazing things for your no-it-can’t-be-September…
1) Allyson Rousseau
I’m always intrigued by artists that blend the traditional with the contemporary, and Montreal-based fiber artist, Allyson Rousseau’s work does just that. I was instantly attracted to her Memphis inspired graphic hangings, and especially love the ones that have dimensional pops.
Her pieces range from small and wearable to larger scale that can be custom commissioned. See more of her work via her Instagram or Etsy.

2) Poketo Fall 2016 lookbook collection
Poketo has come out with another gorgeous collection of notebooks and accessories for Fall 2016. I mean, just drool over these colors for a second. You can get everything now. Like, run don’t walk NOW.

3) West Elm x Commune planters
Two great design forces have teamed up to create a gorgeous collection of warm minimal modernism. West Elm partnered with LA-based Commune (of Ace Hotel fame) for an exclusive line of furniture and accessories. My favorite has to be these terracotta planters (which are now on sale!!). Simple, functional, but with just a little sense of whimsical fun that makes them very sexy and the perfect addition to your home or yard. Check out the entire collection here.
4) Refinery 29 #29Rooms
We’re in the midst of Fashion Week in NYC, and Refinery29 have created another set of incredible #29rooms. Last year’s looked incredible but this year they’ve gone total next level. Basically they’ve created 29 individual rooms that are curated with all kinds of awesomeness in collaboration with a number of artists, brands, and designers.
It’s totally free and open to the public, and will be up all this weekend (9/9- 9/11) All the details and info here.
