The alternate back cover of the Jan/Feb 2013 issue of Elle Decor Italia literally jumped off the newsstand and into my hands. It was one of those “the first second I saw it I had to grab it” kind of moments! It’s part of a larger story of new decor trends for 2013.
This particular cover and matching feature page showcase the idea of modular pieces. The rug on the wall (and on the floor) are the “Nova” rugs by Studio FRST for Chevalier. The other rug is The Crux by Kinnasand. The metal trays are by Clara von Zweigberkgk for Hay, and the coffee tables are by Francesco Rota for Lema.
I’m just in love with all the bright color combinations anchored by the concrete floor and white walls. So modern and fresh!
