I don’t normally gravitate towards country/cabin-y interiors, but the home of designer Javier Requejo in Spain would definitely make me reconsider!
I’m immediately attracted to all the bright pops of color along with the eclectic mix of furniture pieces. It’s interesting to note how most of the walls and major pieces are neutral or wood tones, yet have lots of texture. This gives the home depth and warmth, and lets all the colorful pieces shine. I also love all the little animal wire sculptures throughout the house, which are done by his son, who also shares the same name.
Javier has made the perfect balance of both traditional and modern elements that create a fresh, but also completely cozy home. Check out the entire tour of this incredible home over at Elle Decor España.
