Last week was all about a yellow pop, but this week it’s orange! Love this simple idea to give a door a surprise accent, as featured in the September 2011 Martha Stewart Living.
Also in the issue is this nook that is similar to that yellow post. The pop color is paired against a tan wall, only instead of a shelf unit, they painted all the picture frames orange. I like how they continued the theme with the linen pillows that have the orange accent stripe. I’m a little on the fence about the orange frames- I like the concept, but I dunno… something seems off to me… what do you guys think? hit or miss? (photos by Jonny Valiant and Matthew Hranek)
