Woo hoo! It’s friday- and I really be needin’ a little pop music shimmy and shake as the weekend finally arrives. Gotta get up and move so I’m leaving you with a Ri Ri double header. First is her latest official single “Only girl in the world.” I’m a little torn on this video. It’s kind of weird and a bit boring. The editing is sort of off, the styling is hit and miss, but the colors are really pretty, the song is my jam, and she just looks so darn happy in it- and being happy is always a good thing. The second is a special promo single she did for some Doritos tie-in, (random?) called “who’s that chick”- I love the hyper bright colors and wacky outfits. Another fluffly pop dance song. The lyrics in the song sum up both of these videos and my current mood best: “Baby, I just want to dance… I don’t really care…”
