Oh the lovely Pluot… aka “Dinosaur eggs”. This past weekend was extremely hot here in the southland, and of course, I end up going to an even hotter place (Palm Springs)- but I had come with reinforcements: juicy pluots and ice cream!…Slice up the pluots, toss a little brown sugar, sauteé them with some butter, and top over cold creamy vanilla ice cream… great heat buster… tart and sweet quite nummy nummy… Do you guys have any other recipes for pluots?
