Interesting… Was at Target today and saw the new display for Giada De Laurentiis. I thought that Mario Batali already had a line there, but I guess Giada might be a bit more popular with the Target customer and has a different audience. Here’s the official press release. Aside from cookware/kitchen gear, there’s also food products- including dried pasta and ground coffee. (i picked up the packaged Orzo) The packaging is kind of nice, although kind of reminds me of the Martha lines, mainly because of the aqua color and squares- but I was really liking the utensils, that all were kind of square-ish and felt really nice in the hand. Not really big on all the red, but that’s just a personal color preference for me. Check out the collection here and check out the intro video.
